Stuffed Carrot in Oyster Sauce

Mashed shrimp meat 150 g
Carrot (s) 16 slices
Corn starch 2 tbsp [for dusting]
Broccoli cooked, cut into florets [for serving]


Salt 1/4 tsp
Sugar 1/2 tsp
Corn starch 1/2 tsp
Premium Brand Oyster Sauce 1 1/2 tbsp
Sugar 1 tsp
Corn starch 1 tsp
Water 75 ml

  1. Use cutter to cut carrot into flower shape.  Dust one side with corn starch.
  2. Mix marinade with mashed shrimp.  Stuff carrot slices with shrimp paste.
  3. Put carrot slices on a serving plate and steam for 10 minutes.  Drain off excess liquid and surround with cooked broccoli.
  4. Heat through sauce mix.  Pour over carrot slices.
