Brasied Chicken and Mushrooms with Oyster Sauce

Chicken 1 pc
Chinese mushroom(s) 12 pcs [soaked]
Green onion(s) 150 g
Ginger (s) 120 g [sliced]
Water 600 ml


Premium Brand Oyster Sauce 4 tbsp
Selected Light Soy Sauce to taste
to taste
Abalone Sauce to taste
Sugar 1 tsp
Corn starch 1 tsp
Salt 2/3 tsp

  1. Sauté green onion, ginger and Chinese mushrooms in oil. Add water, seasoning mix and boil. Add chicken and boil again. Lower the heat, cover and cook for about 30 minutes. Take out chicken and chop into pieces. Keep the sauce. Put all other ingredients on a serving plate. Arrange chicken on top. Stir corn starch solution [mix corn starch with a little water] in the sauce and heat through. Pour on top of chicken.
